MedAid does not verify or update emergency numbers or instructions provided by external sources. Users should always follow local emergency procedures and contact their healthcare provider or local emergency services directly when urgent assistance is needed.

3. Data Sources and Limitations

MedAid displays information from trusted U.S. government and public health sources, including:

  • U.S. Food & Drug Administration (OpenFDA) – drug identification data (RxCUI identifiers and FDA SetIDs) used to link medications to FDA drug labels and MedlinePlus information.
